Hi there and happy weekend! We’re back from vacation in Japan with the things we’re thinking about in November.

My number one love right now (sorry, Xan) is my electric throw blanket. It’s been a total game changer. Our old house is SO. DRAFTY. that I usually just cannot get warm and by the time summer rolls around I need some time to thaw out. I use this thing all the time when I’m watching TV or lounging on the couch. I also use it when I work from home at my desk or table. It’s especially lovely to snuggle your feet in it - mine just never seem to get warm.
Elderberry. I use this during cold and flu season to try and keep from getting sick. It worked so well last year that year even when Xan was sick with the flu and bronchitis I didn’t get it. I swear by it. I use the syrup and took the gummies to Tokyo, both are great.
I picked up a few pieces from this Japanese potter while we were in Tokyo and I love the look and functionality.
I keep pondering the power of the micro-vacation.
V. into my current (clean) facewash.
Loving so many things from Boden right now. Right now I want all the pink things including this, this, this, these, and these in black.

We just spent some time in Tokyo. And I could not have enough nice things to say about this hotel.
Having just flown to Japan and sat in the middle seat for 12 hours. I am very intrigued by this neck rest and pillow.
I recently upgraded my old iPhone 6 and I selected this case for my new phone. While its a little bigger than the minimal cases out there, I love the added functionality of the wallet and kickstand (I no longer carry a wallet now), and the peace of mind that my phone will be protected if I drop it (more like when I drop it).
Waxed jackets. They are versatile and stylish and (mostly) waterproof. This is the trifecta of perfection. I have this jacket from Marine Layer, but this one from Huckberry is also nice if you prefer one without a zipper.
With the cold weather here, I have been loving my Carhartt Hat. Its wonderful for keeping my head warm.
