Happy Monday, friends! How was your weekend? Mine was great, we got lots of stuff done around the house, and didn’t have too many plans, which I always enjoy. One thing we did a lot of was talking about and planning the new kitchen. If you’re interested in what’s been happening up until now you can find that post here. This weekend we used the Virtual Reality equipment at Xan’s office to walk through each of our 3 schemes. Hi there! Happy Thursday, friends. I’m so excited about today’s post because I’ve decided to participate in the One Room Challenge (!!!) as a guest blogger. If you’re not familiar with the One Room Challenge it’s a 6-week event where 20 or so bloggers choose a room and completely renovate it. Changes run the gamut from just decor updates to gut renovations. Every week they post updates of their progress and at the end of the 6-weeks there are all these beautiful, inspiring rooms to marvel at. And the best part is that anyone with a blog can participate as a guest – so that’s what I’m doing! Guest participants share weekly updates every Thursday, so this is the first in a series of 6 installments!

From there I added in some wood in the vanity and the stools. A little texture from the towels and the mirror. And pulled it together with some accents that aren’t too overwhelming. This is basically my dream small bathroom design.

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Target launched their newest home line this week. It’s called Project 62 and it has tons of good stuff. After perusing basically everything they have I was left thinking about their lighting days later. This line has SO MANY good options. Lots of gold, glass, and modern shapes – it just made my design heart very happy! And how could I keep this all to myself? So, I’m sharing my favorites lighting options today. Just click on any photo below to be taken directly to the light. If you watch my stories then you know I got this one and this one for my desk and was choosing between the two. I finally decided on the single, but man that triple is so good I really want to use it somewhere else! Oh, and this one? It’s so cute and it’s only $40!!

Hi, friends! If you remember back when we bought this house you may know that we had plans to remodel the kitchen. Well, we haven’t forgotten about it. Quite the opposite, actually. We probably think about it every day because of how small our current kitchen is.
