Even though we took this hike a while ago, the shots are worth sharing. And, hopefully can inspire anyone lucky enough to be living in or visiting San Francisco to make the short drive across the bridge and take one for me yourself.

On the previously mentioned California trip I took after college I also visited LA. After the trip my friend and I both felt like LA was a total let down and after that I wasn’t a huge fan. Looking back and knowing a little more about LA, I can say I’m sure that not being old enough to rent a car or knowing much about the city significantly contributed to how much fun we had.

Playing catch-up
And I mean serious catch-up. But, Thanksgiving was so much fun that I had to share my snaps. We went down to visit our friends in LA, you know, the ones who came to visit us last year for Thanksgiving. It’s a bit of a tradition and honestly, we have a little something up our sleeves for next year to keep the tradition alive even though we’re no longer on the West Coast. More on that later though.

Today was the first day since Fall started that it’s actually felt like it. We had a dinner party last night and both woke up a bit hazy from the late night, indulgent food, and a couple glasses of wine. But, Xan being the trooper he is ran up to Trader Joe’s first thing in the morning and when he got back he said it felt so much like Fall! With that we decided we pretty much had no other choice than to go on a long walk. And that’s just what we did!
