Hi friends, happy Monday! I’ve been clearing out the room the new kitchen will be in to prepare for the upcoming renovation. The room has basically served as a huge closet for the last year. Anything we couldn’t find a place for when we moved in was dropped there. And was never moved 🙈
One of the many things I needed to find a new home for was all my gift-wrapping supplies. If you’ve spent much time around here, you may have already heard me declare my love for wrapping gifts. I love interesting papers and always keep scraps no matter how big or small. They come in so handy! Up until now all my paper was stuck in the corner of the closet in the “closet” room along with lots of other stuff. Any paper that wasn’t rolled on cardboard would often fall over and get squished and creased. No good!
A DIY Idea for Wrapping Paper Storage
When I started clearing out the room I knew I wanted a better wrapping paper solution instead of moving them another corner of the house to continue getting messed up. In my perfect world I would have a wrapping station. Maybe even a little room dedicated to it. But, there’s just not space for that right now. So, I decided to at least go for a wrapping paper storage solution that wouldn’t crush all my paper and pretty supplies. And that’s how I came up with this SUPER SIMPLE idea for wrapping paper storage. It’s literally just a plastic under-the-bed storage box with three smaller boxes along the sides. In those small boxes I separated out all the odds and ends that go along with wrapping like: tissue, bows, ribbon, gift bags/tags, and everything else.
If you’re also looking for storage ideas for your wrapping paper and related supplies I really recommend this. It keeps everything safe, neat, and really easy to access. What more could you ask for!
Large box // small boxes (they don’t have the singles online, but they did have them in my local store. They were on the same shelf as the large box)
