Always be cleaning! After living in so many different places over the years I’ve found that this is SO important especially in small spaces. And when I say clean I mean both cleaning things that are actually dirty AND also tidying up.

I haven’t created an e-design for a while and thought now was the perfect time to put one together. This is a little guest bedroom inspiration and I’m sure I subconsciously wanted to do it because I’ve had ours on my mind lately.

How often do you have houseguests? We actually have them kind of a lot, and I love it. I love hosting people and having family and friends visit. Even though all our friends and family were a country away we had tons of people visit in San Francisco.

You guys! I can’t believe I haven’t told you about this yet! A couple months ago I stopped by the outlet mall near our house to pick up something. I’d driven past the outlets before and noticed that there was a West Elm outlet there.

You might remember from a few posts back that I’ve been rearranging the furniture in our house. For me this is the final step before the fun stuff like hanging art, designing and just generally adding character and I’ve been pretty much dying to get to that since the day we set foot in this house.
