I’m skipping my usual content because on a day like today it feels far too trivial.
I was grateful that no one I loved was hurt that day, and know that so many others weren’t as lucky. So, for them, for the men and women who lost their lives, for the first responders, the people who held perfect strangers in love and kindness, and for every single person whose lives changed in an instant I’m taking a moment to say I haven’t forgotten and will never forget what happened. And, I will honor your memory, your sacrifice, and your service in whatever way I can today.
I want to leave you with a couple things. The first is this quote that for some reason really resonated with me this morning. The second is this story from The Moth, it’s a beautiful tribute to those who lost loved ones.
So, be sure to hold your loved ones dear today and everyday.
