If you’ve been following along on my Stories then you know that last week Xan and I DIY’ed a new desk for my office. We basically added a floating work surface in the nook of our guest room. There are about a million reasons that I love it, but I’ll get into those in another post.

Today I’m talking all about cute office accessories. I decided to paint the desk white because my whole workspace is very much in transition. As much as I would have loved a beautiful pop of color, I just didn’t want to box myself in when it comes time to design in the rest of the room. And, I’m sticking with that same concept for the accessories too. Overall, I want the feel of the desk to be clean, modern and neutral with a little sophistication thrown in there. And since it’s only a work surface I’m going to have to figure out everything from storage to lighting and even shelves. That’s why I’ve rounded up my favorite chic desk accessories for women.

When it comes to shelving I’m totally obsessed with these real wood ones from Target because they’re giving me all the California vibes and I’m not mad about it. I’m also loving all the gold accessories (when am I not?). That little task light is so interesting and that letter sorter would be perfect for the paper I have lying around. And, I’m not sure that I actually need any bookends, but I’m waaay into these.
