Living Room Decor Idea
Artwork // Table lamp // Tripod Floor Lamp // Couch // Accent Pillows // Side Table // Coffee Table // Rug
Over the weekend I did another e-design and this time it was an idea for a living room. I keep thinking about how much I want a sectional and even though it would be a while before we got one because we have so many other things on the list that are more important right now I was still inspired by this one. I’ve seen it in person and it’s really gorgeous, and I’m obsessed with the way it pairs with this colorful rug. In fact, I’m just generally obsessed with that rug. I love bold colors and patterns so it was the other jumping off point for this design. I tried to keep most of the other things a bit more neutral because I didn’t want them to compete with the rug. So, I brought in the tripod lamp that we have (and love!) and that gold accent table to keep the finishes pretty uniform. I thought the addition of the coffee table was a nice way to pull some wood in while still keeping it very simple. I love how those green pillows really pop on the couch and also tie into the rug. And the grey lamp adds more light without pulling too much attention from the other areas of the room. The last thing I did was add the art. I thought one big piece would look good and I like that this one brings in some pattern, but the black and white complements the rug and it’s big pattern nicely.
I love the bold nature of the space and that sectional really can’t be beat. I’ve linked all the sources for you below.
Happy Monday!
