SF See and Do: Southern Pacific Brewing
Over the weekend we had some friends in town from North Carolina. We were doing a dinner with several other people over in the Mission, but our reservations weren’t until 8:00. So, we decided to head over early and jump in a bar nearby. No plan on where to go, we just figured we’d wander around until we found something interesting. And, man did we do a good job!
We parked about six blocks from the restaurant. Down a little alleyway right next to the car we could hear a bunch of noise. We walked down to check it out wondering if it could be a good option and we stumbled across Southern Pacific Brewing. It’s this huge space (especially by San Francisco standards) with a fun atmosphere. The décor is this interesting mix of industrial/garden-y vibes and is actually really cool. There’s a lot of metal, huge windows, and lush green plants everywhere – even inside!
If you’re in the area I definitely recommend stopping by. It’s great for large groups or lazy weekend afternoons.
