A few weeks ago when my in-laws were here we all took a trip to SFMOMA, the much-talked about modern art museum in San Francisco. It re-opened in May after being closed for renovations for the last three years. And it seriously lived up to the talk. The redesign is pretty amazing and so are the exhibits. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the gift shop. Honestly, the very best I’ve seen.

 If you go, get a ticket for early so you can spend the whole day browsing and checking out the gift shop. Pro-tip: you can get back in with your ticket, so take a mid-day break and refuel at the newest Delarosa location. It’s a few blocks away so it’s a quick walk, and they have a really great outdoor space. Pizza (and even a glass of wine!) is the perfect lunch before heading back to the museum and finishing up.
